Letter from the President of the U.A.E. – September 2012
As you may have already noticed by the convocation letter, which had been sent to you by our General Secretary, the other succession will take place during the ordinary general meeting, which takes place this year at Marseille, 13th October 2012 at 10.30 o’clock at the Club du Vieux Port, 3 Place aux Huiles.
I would like to invite you to sign up numerously at the seminary organized by the Honorary President, Mister Gérard Abitbol, and by the Marseille Delegation, on a fascinating subject, which refers to the principle of precaution in Europe; it will take place on Friday 12th October 2012. The Annual Ordinary General Meeting will take place one day later, and it will be followed by a cocktail offered by the UAE at the occasion of the changes of its presidency and its bureau.
In the context of the general meeting’s organization, I would like to recall the only those members who are in good standing with their membership dues will be entitled to vote during the general meeting. It is thus important to wire transfer the amount of the membership dues on the organization’s account, which is LU94 0019 1300 1420 6000 opened at the Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat, Code BIC/SWIFT BCEELULL. More generally, and even to those who would prefer not to hold on to their membership to the U.A.E., I would like to state and recall that this membership to Our Association offers many advantages, which are the following, just to name a few:
Obtaining a journal electronically and now also a written issue twice a year.
Privileged informations on all events held and organized by the U.A.E.
An active part and parcel of one of the most representatives associations of lawyers in Europe.
Numerous events organized by our members, in the context of our yearly activities, whereof various legal subjects.
Possibility of getting professional training dots during many of those events, standing for in-service training.
Availability of an internet site, accessible for all our members.
Possibility of editing articles and being speaker at our meetings
An association like ours lives on the membership dues of our members. I would thus like to invite all those who are not in good standing with their membership dues at this time to proceed with their payments.
Hoping to meet you numerously at Marseille, I send you my most confraternal greetings.
